Its easy to lease an apartment with Shucom Properties.
Step 1: Find the apartment that is right for you.If you would like to view an apartment in one of our four rental communities, we can schedule an appointment to show you units that are available. If you cannot visit us during working hours, we can tell you how to let yourself into an apartment.
Step 2: Complete a rental application and turn it into our office- Every adult over the age of 18 who will be living in the apartment must complete a rental application.

- Please enclose a $35 application fee (money order or cashier's check) with the completed application.
- The $35 fee will cover up to 2 adults
- The application may be turned in at our office at Oxford Hall Apartments or at our office at Seaboard Oaks Apartments
Once your application has been approved, you may select an available apartment. To reserve an apartment, you will be required to sign a lease and pay at least half of the security deposit. You can pay the remaining balance of what you owe before you move in.

Typically, it takes 1 to 2 business days to process an application.
What determines whether my application will be approved?
Shucom Properties is looking for residents who pay their rent, take care of their apartments, and who are good neighbors for other residents. As a result, the application process consists of a credit report, employment verification, rental history, and a criminal background check.
How much is the security deposit?
Shucom Properties has a standard refundable deposit of $199. Sometimes, applicants with poor credit or rental history are approved with a higher deposit. The amount of the deposit can only be determined by processing the application.Will I get my deposit back?
Yes, if you complete the term of the lease and if you don't damage the apartment, your deposit will be refunded.Can I use the same rental application to apply for any Shucom Properties community?
